Your Brand Foundations are the backbone of your brand; the guiding force behind everything you do, say, or create. The foundations are the meaning, the essence of your brand, the heart and soul of your work given words. When you’re faced with a decision or creating new offers come back to your brand foundations to determine what is truly in alignment for your business.

Your message isn’t complicated. It may feel like it is when you have a lot to say, but what if we really boiled it down to just one thing? One big idea. One heart-felt connection to the people you are speaking to. When it comes to business we are often trying to be someone or something other than ourselves without even realizing it. There are so many societal norms influencing us that truly crafting a business that feels good to you is an ongoing process of discovery and releasing what we thought we should do, who we should be, and what we should want. It’s time to peel back another layer and tune into what is truly ours, who we truly are, and what is not. There is no right or wrong. Who you are at your core is powerful and beautiful and carries so much magic and wisdom.

the deepening

The Deepening takes you on a journey into your depths where the words in your heart live. We’ll explore your beliefs, desires, whys, and so much more through a series of questions intended to help tease out the nuances that set you apart. Through the questions you’ll see the power in what you do and who you are more clearly than ever before. This is important not just to identify your message and what it all comes back to for you, but also because how you talk about what you do stems from how you feel about what you do.

Once we’ve completed The Deepening we’re ready to define what it all comes back to through developing your Alignment Code. In the Alignment Code we recognize and honor the distinctions between your mission, your whys, your values, and your message so that we can see the role each part plays on its own and as a whole. We strive for simplicity  because the simpler an idea or concept, the easier it is to communicate and explore through conversation in a way that resonates with the audience you are speaking to.

While everyone has their own journey, I have heard that it takes most people 8-12 hrs when doing this as a solo quest. For many, this often translates into 4-6 weeks vs. the 2-3 weeks (3-4 hrs) it typically takes when doing the same quest in a guided format.

It’s important to me that we allow spaciousness into this process. I cannot tell you how many times these sessions have taken unexpected turns and (in so doing) led to some very important healing around visibility and self-love.

 

If we are not finished with The Deepening part of the quest (minus the tarot spread) at the completion of the second Alignment Session we will discuss next steps for you. You may choose to purchase additional session(s) or finish up the questions solo style. Depending on your choice we may elect to postpone the start date of your 1 week of Voxer support for up to 1 month.

My clients and I have often experienced a deepening into this work and these questions that simply cannot be achieved alone. There is something extra that occurs when there is someone on the other side witnessing and exploring your depths with you.

 

Additionally, we are often able to move through this process at a faster pace in a guided quest format without it feeling rushed. Often the sessions feel like a self-care practice because we are (essentially) connecting to your eternal self so that your soul knowing can be witnessed through your responses.

Many brand strategy practices are very linear, taking what I like to call a one-step approach—asking you the direct questions for your brand strategy like “what is your purpose?” or “what are your values?”and so on and so forth.

 

The Brand Alignment takes a two-step approach.
First we go on a journey through asking a lot of questions, some are direct, some are less direct. We aren’t trying to create a brand strategy or define the core messaging yet, we’re just exploring what is within us. Then, once we have teased many ideas and nuances out of ourselves we simplify it into the brand strategy and core message by seeing what it all comes back to.

 

Furthermore, while many brand strategy practices will have you looking outside of yourself for answers (surveys, polls, past testimonials, etc) I believe that our brands are an extension and expression of who we are and as such all of the traditional ‘brand strategy’ work can be done through getting to know ourselves more fully. What it comes down to is: this isn’t about looking outward, it’s about looking inward.

You’ll have access to the Brand Alignment content for the life of the program. Meaning, as long as I am still offering it, you’ll have access to it and can dive back into it as often as you want.

You are welcome to ask questions and receive group support from me within the program’s backend, however, the best way to get my help on your Brand Alignment at this point in time is through a guided quest or additional 1:1 alignment sessions (available inside the course platform).
